Bio

Brooke Smith (b. 1993) has received a B.F.A. in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA in the spring of 2017. She has exhibited her work locally in group exhibitions. She has also been a studio assistant to the Ladd Brothers during their installation at the Pei Ling Chang Gallery, Savannah, GA; worked as a scenic artist at Amaryllis Floral & Event Design, Englewood, MD; and has taught printmaking classes at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, Reading, PA. Her practice revolves around the reclamation of identity and body through connection to the wild. She currently lives and works in Reading, PA.
